“Hurry Up” is an eclectic global club music project. With “Hurry Up” Phasiyaa & So Vital created a vivid experience to showcase their comprehensive musical influences. With propulsive synths, airy pads, wide basslines, and the sensual vocals of Ghanaian rooted Phasiyaa the opener “Hurry up” has a tropical pop vibe. The Caribbean & UK infected sound of “Icy” reflects the Dancehall party in London, where Phasiyaa and So Vital first meet in 2019. “Bye Bye” is a bilingual electric funk banger, where So Vital and Phasiyaa fuse their songwriting skills. The dreamy and atmospheric “No No” taps into the new emerging hyperpop style.
Their first collaboration “Softeis” was an underground scorcher in 2019 and made it into Tidal´s flagship playlist “Rising: Reggae/Dancehall” and aired on radio stations like NTS (UK), KEXP (USA), or Boxout.fm (India). Since that time Phasiyaa & So Vital formed a strong creative bond. “It´s always lit when we are in the studio together.” so Phasiyaa “So Vital knows my vibe quite well and understands what I need while we are recording.” This chemistry is important for their collaboration because both are quite uncompromising when it comes to their artistic craft. With “Hurry Up” Phasiyaa & So Vital set the ambitious goal to reach the global club music fans.
